Why We’re Attending HCD Conference + Expo
HCD is the annual conference and trade show serving healthcare design professionals, produced alongside Healthcare Design magazine. The program covers healthcare planning, design, and construction across more than one hundred sessions, pairing research and case study content with an expo floor where attendees evaluate products and building systems for healthcare environments. Attendees include architects, interior designers, engineers, healthcare facility executives, planners, contractors, and the manufacturers serving the sector, and continuing education credit is available across the program.
The 2026 edition co-locates with the IFHE World Congress, the international gathering of the International Federation of Healthcare Engineering, which brings a global cohort of healthcare engineering professionals to the same dates and venue. The combined program includes keynotes, pre-conference workshops and facility tours, association events, and the Nightingale Awards recognizing product design contributions to the healthcare built environment.
